Promoter Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing, and super featherweight contender Sergio "Yeyo" Thompson (26-2, 24KOs), are very upset with the recent turn of events involving Rocky Juarez. According to Gomez, Juarez verbally agreed to face Thompson on May 18th at the Hotel Grand Oasis in Cancun, Mexico. The fight was going to be the co-feature to Shane Mosley vs. Pablo Cesar Cano.

I was thinking of the Escalante fight and it was the other way around.

Not sure what I was thinking. I was at work with not a very clear head.
