I think it's going to be an interesting fight, but I don't foresee any kind of war.
This sums it up for me. Rigo is probably the fastest fighter that Donaire has faced. Donaire won't be able to sit down on most of his punches like he did against slower opponents. Conversely, Rigo is taking on a beast who is quicker, bigger and more powerful than anyone he's ever fought. Can't wait for this!

Wow no one is giving Rigo a chance in hell huh? As great as Donaire is I think people are really underestimating Rigo. All of this doubt is based on 1 fight where he was hurt it seems. I am not saying Rigo is going to win but man, people are talking like Rigo is a talentless bum. It is pretty ridiculous. Boxing is the theater of the unexpected, remember that.

Dunno, I sense that Rigo has gotten to Donaire mentally and it sounds like he is over-training...3 times a day? I am starting to think that Rigo is going to present some major problems for him and he is acting like he thinks so too.

Yeah man....Rigo is no slouch and I've seen Donaire get hit 20 times the amount that I've seen Rigo get hit but Donaire takes a punch better.

Most def, Donaire has a decent chin. But I don't think anybody has gone after his body. And he's a tall fighter with lots of body. I'd like to see if Rigo can stick that lead hook in there...

Plenty of people give Rigo a real shot. Not long ago, there was a poll where many Boxingscene members voted. The result was about 60/40 Donaire, the last I saw.

If that were the case then his trainer is a liar. He just finished saying in the same article Do aire trains harder according to opponent & their status...stop nutthugging bro.

                    It's more like 70-30 Donaire!

Donaire gets touched a lot. He also misses a lot. It's a perfect recipe for an accurate counterpuncher like Rigo. Of course, what Nonito has firmly on his side is the ability to end the fight with one well-timed shot. In the end, I think it'll all come down to Guillermo seeing the final bell. If that happens, we might very well have a new star on the P4P lists.
