    I personally think it's because of Khan's susceptibility to getting stretched out out. If they included him from the gitgo, he wouldn't last 2 fights before the KO. Now, they can include him and mitigate the KO aspect while capitalizing on the money factor that he brings along.

    It shows their lack of confidence in him but they can spin it like he is still some kind of shot caller I guess.

                  Dude I'm saying khan shouldn't have to fight these bums in Carlos Molina and David Diaz then be placed in apposition where 4 of the best 140 pounders have to square off while khan relaxes fighting bums. He should have to fight a contender to be placed in the mix

                      he already put in work at the division last 3 years Khan fought Peterson Kotelnik Maidana Malignaggi Judah Peterson and Garcia but lets see what he does after Diaz fight
