Had tickets to see him and meet him here in Richmond show got cancelled a week after i bought them. Been hearing good reviews from journalists though so I just bought some tickets to the one in DC. I'm really hoping its a good show definitely like to hear the opinions of people in this forum who have seen it.Comment

Well obviously but come on. Look at the pic they posted here of him. Not frail at all. And he sounds like he's humbled down a bit so maybe that's one of the reasons too.Originally posted by RicDaRulaQuote:

Yeah he sure did talk about that even had it up on the big screen and counted it out loud.....dunno if the speed of the type was messed with but if you count it like he did it does turn out to be like a 13 second count....just sayin......I saw it when it first opened in NYC. It was a fantastic show.
I don't know if he changed it, but I really didn't like how he tried to act as if the loss to Buster was some kind of fraud. He made the comment "We all know what really happened" referencing the so called long count. I think it was clear he got destroyed and that Buster was not seriously hurt and was very clear headed after the knockdown.
I didn't think it was cool of him to discredit Buster like that in front of many people who probably don't know anything about the sport or that fight to refudiate it.Comment

Yo I stood next to the man the myth the legend....I shook his heavy ass hand and I posed in a pic with the man...believe me...perhaps frail is not the right word but I had never seen Mike before and I guess in my mind I was expecting a MONSTROUS scary ass mofo....but really he about my size...and the fact that he is so thin now and of course older and lost that scowl off his mug and replaced it with a big ass ear to ear smile....I think that is what made me seem him that way....Comment

That is irrelevant. The count in seconds is not how counts are measured, they are counted by the referee, whether or not it takes 10 12, 13, or 9 actual seconds.
Buster was so in tune with his surroundings, acknowledged the count, slammed his glove on the ground, and got up when the ref reached about 8. Had the ref been in time and counting as if he were as accurate as a watch, I'm sure Buster would have gotten up just the same. It really makes no difference.
The fact is that Tyson got pounded from pillar to post for 10 rounds straight before he ultimately got knocked out. Look at the difference in the two fighters after each knock down. Can you guess which one is a real knockout?
Tyson got hammered.Comment

I thought the show in SF was great....MC Hammer was there and Tyson and him talked back an forth all night. Tyson did a great rendition of the Brad Pitt/Givens story an also the Mitch Green story. Crowd in SF loved it.
To set the stage for some of you the beginning was great. It starts off with the lights going down, the curtain has yet to go up. Then real loud comes on N i gg as in Paris by Jay-z and song plays "take your pick, Jackson, Tyson, Jordan, Game 6" then the song plays back and repeats "Tyson, Tyson, Tyson, Tyson, Tyson" the crowd is going crazy an wild and cheering then music stops and the curtains go up........Comment
