What? You're an idiot. The reason he's not a superstar is because he turned pro so late and his "boring" style. Pacquiao is FAR from flawless and he's the or second biggest superstar in boxing. So you're logic is dumb. You just proved just how big of an idiot you are....It should have been, "So YOUR logic is dumb" not you're...Alright, english grammar class is over. Rigo will be walked over by Donaire. He holds his right hand low, he has the tendency to leap in without throwing a jab, he loads up on that body punch of his and HE hasn't FOUGHT anyone. He's decent at best, he won't be a superstar, he won't beat the cream of the crop at bantamweight.
You continue to make a fool out of yourself. If you read under my post you will see I am using a phone to post and there's something called Swype/auto correct. You do know how those work right? Carry on with your class please. Moron.
no other way around it. First big punch from Donaire and Rigo won't want to play that game. It's just not a good idea for Rigo to think he can win by being the defensive counter puncher because the aggressive style Nonito will display will most likely win the rounds.
I have nothing but respect for any fighter because I know what these guys go through. I love the sport of boxing and have nothing but respect for the athletes that make the sport possible. From what I see on these threads is a lot of biased; most of it I think comes from race and country. The truth is these guys go through grueling regiments and take massive amounts of damage. Why would anyone call any of these guys "bums" or "tomato can"? I say go do what they do, go accomplish what they have accomplished and then come on these threads and talk all the **** you want. If not, then just stop with the negativity and just enjoy the show.
With that being said, in my most unbiased opinion my pick to win is definitely Donaire. Not that I do not think Rigo is a good boxer, statistically and on paper Donaire is just a better fighter. Donaire has all the physical advantages do go with his resume. However I notice a lot of people bring up Rigo's amateur career. Even though Rigo has had a really good amateur career I just don't think that will necessarily make him good enough to beat Donaire. The amateurs are scored waaaaaaaay differently then the pros. If anyone has seen amateur boxing lately they would know that all you have to do is pitty pat as much as possible and you will win. Also, we have to bring into consideration why Rigo was so good in the amateurs. Cuba actually has had a very decorated amateur boxing program for decades now and most of it has to do with the fact that professional boxing is not legal (except of course for Abril which has special privileges for some reason). Anyway, if all you do is amateurs for your whole career, you are bound to be the best in the amateurs for the amount of experience you would have acquired over the many years of doing just that. Well that is my take on it but like in every fight, there are always surprises.
I cannot figure out how Rigondeaux can ever win this fight even the slightest. This won't go farther than five rounds. But you could be right there are always surprises in this game. My take is there ain't gonna be surprises. Donaire KOs Rigondeaux inside one two three four five rounds.
Man if Rigo loses it would be disappointing but not shocking but if he wins some people going to cut their wrists in here lol And makes you wonder if he beats Donaire does that take him to the top 10 p4p list straight away or will people say he doesn't have enough fights etc?
