I was actually thinking about him earlier this morning (as I have been to one of his fights). He was a good prospect when I first saw him but that was a few years ago. I suspect one of three things, 1) he's having managerial/ promotional problems, 2) he has reoccuring injuries, or 3) he's not as good as we all thought.

Yeah he was supposed to be the next big thing a few years back, then he went into the witness protection program. He also stopped looking impressive pretty quick.

I wouldn't necessarily say school him, considering he was almost stopped. It was an entertaining fight where Nevin was out boxing him in the beginning, then Valdez caught up to him and dropped him with the body attack.

He lost 19-13 and dropped Nevin in the 3rd round. The guy was just running for his life during the final 30 seconds. In the pros Valdez would've taken him out.
