God of War vs Chavez Jr would be about as exciting a fight as can be made in boxing. Chavez is HUGE which may help him absorb the power of GGG. I think it all depends on how well GGG can handle the pressure of a huge guy coming forward and throwing shots all night. They have sparred, and both seem confident. Im going with GGG in a war.

I'd also like Chavez Jr in that fight as well.

Mosley beat Marg with hand speed...yea he did hold his own on the inside but that hand speed was giving Marg problems...only dudes to REALLY beat Marg down during his run were Shane and Pac...hand speed troubled Marg IMO

I ****s with Jr now ...but this a pick'em fight IMO...really don't know how Jr. will react to Golovkin's power...IF those tales about his super punching power are true...and how will Golovkin react when he lands and doesn't get the same reaction he's gotten from others?...what happens when he's not the bigger man and has to move backwards trying to fight off a "FIGHT NIGHT" cruiserweight?!?

that 12th round rally Jr came up with might've saved his career....just from a mental point....who knows how the kid would've reacted to getting thumped for 12 rounds without having any moments?!?....but know he has something positive to build or re-build off of....those type of beatings he took from Maravilla usually ruins young fighters...most of this game is mental...and that 12th round saved Jr's mental IMO

I can't believe people still ignore Mosley's handspeed combined with his power.

Hence why Pacquiao and Cotto couldn't duplicate what Mosley did, cause they don't have the tremendous amount of power+handspeed that even an old Mosley had. Pacquiao had the handspeed obviously, with the way he cut up Margarito's face and broke his orbital bone. But Mosley has that brutal power to take you down, combined with his speed.

Golovkin has no where near the handspeed or defense of a 2009 Shane Mosley.

Jr. will look like he's fighting a midget if that is the size disparity.

I don't think GGG can handle a damn cruiser weight if he's lacking handspeed and quick footwork.

The man will get brutalized if Jr. isn't being phased by GGG's best shots.

We have wanted Golovkin for years. Lets see how good he is when he's not fighting blown up welterweights, or German taxi drivers - the man will be in trouble. "Sugar" Cesar Chavez is the baddest man walking the face of the earth and he will violate any middleweight ****** enough to get in his way.

47 have tried and 47 have failed. Golovkin can't be the first, but he can be the next.

may Chavez Jr's next opponent upset him so we won't have to be subject to a pointless Martinez-Chavez rematch
