Barrera is going to have A LOT of problems with Chavez' strength and toughness. I think Marco is going to be stopped late.

Barrera has had a lot of problems with aggressive fighters with high energy levels who can punch (PacMan, Poison Jones). I think he's going have problems with Chavez because Chavez won't stop coming at him and he is the bigger, stronger guy.

I'm actually willing to throw a couple bil on this fight with someone for Chavez straight up.

Chavez is no walk in the park, Barrera is going to face a very busy opponent, this fight should be exciting to say the least.

I see this fight going either way. Chavez will make it a war and I wouldn't be surprised if he decisions Barrera. Chavez is bigger, stronger and is always coming forward.
I going to have to agree with you, if anybody remembers the Morales-Chavez fight (If you dont hbo will replay next week), but Morales could not stop Chavez, Chavez was all over him in the beggining of the fight near the end of the fight he fought about 3 or 4 rounds just with his left hand and was still able to hit Morales very well. Im a huge Morales fan but I really think that if Chavez was able to fight Morales completely healthy I think the figth would of been much much closer.

So with that said I think it will be a close fight but I going to pick Chavez by decision split to be exact.

Chavez has fought bigger guys and he gave them all hell of a war. Take nore that Chavez is already a established 135 pounder and MAB is just going up in weight. We all are not sure how those extra 5 pounds would affect MAB.
Chavez has only had 1 fight at 135, i wouldn't exactly say he is an established 135 pounder. What bigger guys? His only fight at 135 was Levander Johnson who wasn't very big or physically strong.

my point too... barrera tends to tire himself through the middle rounds upto the late rounds and with chavez style of attck attack attack, he will be in a REAL fight, FINALLY!!! No more fana's and peden's... back to the real deal...

I'm afraid for MAB on this one. Chavez has the skills to beat him up.

Chavez style of bullrushing you is not suited for MAB. MAB has a weak stamina and gasses out early. Chavez won't wait for MAB to recover before he starts killing Barrera.

I don't want this fight to happen because I want MAB and PAC in the ring. lol!
