Truth is Timothy Bradley is a 140lbs fighter

Timothy is a very short guy and very strong at 140lbs. I remember the first time he tried fighting at 147 and he was not particularly impressive, he could not bully his opponent the way he normally does. He's not a knockout kind of fighter but strong enough to break his opponents down. Bradley is a good fighter but he seems like he doesn't know his limitations.I'm not sure whether he will ever be the same after the shots he took on Saturday but what I know is Bradley is a good fighter at 140lbs.I'm not taking anything away from the Russian kid, he's a good fighter and very strong at 147lbs but Tim's just a 140lbs fighter.

Sounds like you're making excuses....Provodnikov is a 140 fighter at least Bradley had a couple of fights at the weight already.

He is also far less mobile at 147 than he was a 140. Not to say he isn't a good 147 fighter but the drop in mobility takes away from his game and was one of his biggest assets Imo. I feel like it may have been exaggerated by ring rust in his last fight but as you say other outings at 147 show the same trend.

He is still obviously a force at welterweight but i agree he is a better 140lb fighter. Though i doubt he would be able to easily move down as he is the kind of guy stacks on as much muscle as the weight class allows and losing muscle is the hardest thing you can do safely.

Provo***ov was actually weak at 140lbs.It is what it is that's why we have weight classes. I'm not making excuses here but this is the truth.

So Bradley is worse off coming up to 147 even though he outweighed Ruslan by 9 pounds on fight night but at the same time Ruslan is somehow much better off at 147.

It sounds like you are making excuses.

Bradley just is a solid fighter no matter at what weight he was gonna run into these hard fights simply for the face he has no power to keep someone honest.

            PS. NICE SIG

No Bradley can no longer make 140 so he is not a 140 pound fighter. Guys like to make excuses. If guys struggle when they move up its because their talent level cant make up for not having a size and strength advantage any longer. Guys like Maidana and Hatton come to mind. Im saying all this and im a known Bradley fan. Tim fought a dumb fight to please the critics and casual boxing fans who say he is boring and a runner. He may have earned a shot at Marquez for this performance though.

Bradley seems to really have taken the criticism he's been getting to heart. You normally expect athletes to just shrug that stuff off but he seems to really have been bothered by it.

What makes you claim he was weak at the weight?

The truth is Bradley weighed almost 10lbs more the Ruslan on fight night. Like I said it just sounds like you're making excuses.

Bradley could have made the fight much easier on himself by boxing Provodnikov from a distance as he did extremely well in some of the rounds.

Provodnikov would have done the exact same thing to Bradley @ 140 if Timothy fought the same fight.

bradley walks around 160-165. he could make 154 if he wanted to with ease. but id stay away from those tall lanky ****s if I were him. its a pity he doesnt have any punching power with that body build.
