I was inspired by Diego saying this about Zab. The guy's got speed, power and a fair smattering of talent, but I guess his mouth papered over his glass chin.

Someone who had finally managed to convince me recently was Audley Harrison. (Laugh, I know...) after seeing years of him bashing up nobodies, having inarguable boxing skill and talking himself up I was starting to gradually believe he wasn't what I saw him as. The fact that boxing experts and magazines were saying that he could be for real also added to this.

It wasn't immediate, it was just a gradual conjuring trick that he pulled on me over five years. When he took on a dangerous opponent in Williams I felt he MUST be genuine, otherwise why take it? The idea that he'd turn up, get scared, hold all night and then nearly get KOed by a glancing blow no longer occured to me.

Afterwards I felt like such a fool.

            Tua's a good one.

Actually, I suppose what I'm asking is fighters that know THEMSELVES that they're not for real, but manage to fool you. I'm sure Wlad believe he was, and was as surprised as anyone when he discovered he'd had a Roy Jones transplant on the point of his chin.

But Tawdry HAD to know his flaws, and managed ... a bit... to lead me along. Took him five years though.

Lamar Parks maybe, I saw him a few times on Eurosport and was impressed and so aquired his earlier fights and was even more impressed. He seemed to have real heavy hands. Roy Jones was no better prospect than Parks, really. But, Parks lost his shot at the title and just couldn't keep his **** out of punami.

ZAB would be one. A bloated piece of trash talk and no results type of boxer.

He got his ass handed on him big-time by a complete nobody. lol!

One of the biggest upsets in sometime now.

david tua, shane mosley (you read it right, i said mosley), jermain taylor, vivian harris, vitali klitschko (yes, ive jumped off the vitali bandwagon), kid diamond, marcus beyer, joe cal***gy, i could probly think of a few more.

this is too much deception for such a wounded sport.
