This didn't reflect at the stadium, I was there and it was pretty dead. Way too many empty seats. The thing that really sucks HomeDepotCenter/TopRank was saying all the $25 tix were sold out at the gate and were only selling the $50-$300 tix , but when the main event started those $25 seats were still empty all night long. SMH

This is the modern era of Boxing. The money is in T.V viewings not how many people show up to watch live.

Why do they use venues of that size for fights that clearly aren't going to draw crowds anywhere near big enough to fill them? 3000 people in a small indoor arena creates a great atmosphere. 3000 people in a big outdoor arena is just depressing.
Are Top Rank/HBO tied into a number of events at these venues every year? That's the only explanation that makes sense.
