Comments Thread For: Bradley vs. Provodnikov Peaks With 1.4 Million Viewers

Saturday’s HBO World Championship Boxing presentation of Timothy Bradley Jr. vs. Ruslan Provodnikov was a hit both in the ring and on HBO. The live fight on HBO delivered 1.2 million viewers, equaling the previous week’s audience for the World Championship Boxing telecast from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn when Bernard Hopkins defeated Tavoris Cloud. This past weekend’s event in Carson, Calif. peaked with an audience of 1.4 million viewers during the height of the action.

Nice. Bradley's next fight should do even more.

Good numbers and I'm sure they didn't regret it either. Sucks for the people who missed the beginning of the fight.

Good back to back weekends for HBO and another big weekend coming up on the 30th. Another possible FOTY.

They should put the rematch on PPV.

Bradley just set himself up nicely. I'm glad he didn't take those lumps for nothing. With the right opponent he'll clear 1.5 million viewers easy.

I guess fighting Pacquiao still does boost your numbers even if people hate you because of it.

                great fights...

i think most of ruslan's success was due to timmy trying to put on a show rather than effeciency of provodniov's strategy and skills... timmy put himself in harms way to please than fans , nothing but respect for that...good showing by ruslan too tho...

I'll admit before and during the fight i was rooting for Ruslan because of whole pacman debacle. But Timmy definetly won me over, he deserves it.

This makes me wonder what type of numbers Rios vs Bradley could pull
