Floyd's legs are gone. Cotto walked him down and put him against the ropes damn near every round. Floyd recieved the most punishment I've ever seen

ghost has excellent foot speed, he's gonna smother Floyd, and being southpaw will help him even more as its harder to react to the punches because u can't see them coming as easy..

My only concern is Ghost conditioning, rounds 8-12 he slows down. Look at his fight with Berto and Aydin, he gets hit more and more the further the fight goes

Floyd's legs are gone?? Do you even watch his fights..Since when has he been the type of fighter to bounce around or use unnecessary movement in the ring. Mayweather has been a pocket fighter for years. Cotto didnt dictate the pace of that fight. Mayweather was rt in front of him pretty much the way he wanted to be...Same way he's been fighting for years. Cotto had a couple/few decent rds but to call what he doled out "punishment" is being excessive. Punishment is the bradley vs provodnikov fight this past wkend. Floyd doesnt get hit flush that often but he can take take a punch. De la hoya, judah, mosely, and a few other fighrters all hit him w/ good shots. Its boxing..you're going to get hit on occasion. Guerrero is going to attempt to use the same strategy as hatton & castillo and those didnt work. Everybody talks about the 1st castillo fight. Well, if youre going to mention that...Then mention the rematch. It was a rout so obviously that style wasn't all that effective. It's going to take a certain type of fighter to ever beat mayweather. He's going to have to have a distinct size & hgt advantage, good punching power, excellent hand/foot speed, & more importantly sound boxing skills. Sort of the way, vernon forrest (rip) was able to handle a prime shane mosely twice. That fighter isn't guerrero. He gets hit waaaay too much and he's not going to out muscle or rough up mayweather.

What a cherry pick this fight is...i watched the berto/guerrero fight and ghost had no defense whatsoever. He didnt move his head, didnt cut the ring properly, poor hand defense. He has a come forward fighter which is perfect to make floyd look good and have his fans eat it all up.

When you claim to be the best fighter in history how come you aren't proving it by fighting the best? We can all name at least 3 tougher fights for floyd than guerrero...fwhats sad is that floyds best win to date is a past prime druggied up oscar

Since when does the biggest draw in the sport even have to fight a mandatory??? He should be making fights with the biggest names in the sport instead he's fighting a guy he's expected to be easily! AGAIN! But I guess that's what makes him so GREAT

They may have said that. But we all know they were little guys packing on weight. Or Floyd outweighed them. Sucker punched them. Or they were old and past prime or out of their division or both.
Guerrero has a chance. As JMM did not. Mosley did not. Cotto did not. Hatton did not. Ortiz in fact did but got sucker punched after the idiot head butted him.

Guererro is a real threat. Underestimated as well. Its been over a decade since ive looked forward to a fight with Floyd in it. This one, I do!
