Billy Joe Saunders is out to prove that he's the best of the British middleweights this year.

The British and Commonwealth Champion puts both titles on the line this Thursday night at the York Hall against Manchester puncher Matthew Hall, live and exclusive on BoxNation (Sky Ch. 437/****** Ch. 546).

With Martin Murray, Matthew Macklin and Darren Barker all in the domestic mix, Saunders wants to face at least one of his rivals this year

Still only 23 and with his rivals all 30, Saunders says the best is yet to come from him.

"I'm in this business to prove that I'm the best and I'll do that this year," Said Saunders.

"The domestic middleweight division is really heating up and there are some talented lads in there with Murray, Macklin and Barker,"

Martin Murray holds the Interim WBA middleweight title and I don't think it's at stake against Martinez. Maybe they can make a four-way elimination tournament w/Saunders or Lee and use the interim WBA belt along with an EBU or British title to hype up the tournament.

For me Billy Joe is the best of the youngsters coming through.

The fight i'd love to see would be him and Chris Eubank jr.

I think Billy would win because Eubanks biggest problem is his lack of power or he hasnt shown much up to this point. He wouldnt be able to keep Billy off him
