      Lol

So who were u talking about its vague. The post you were replying to had Maidana as the subject. So a reply with "He", naturally makes me think you are speaking on Maidana. So who? Ruslan, Karass? You aren't very clear.

No, it really isn't. I said Maidana ("looked), like he was ready to quit".

That does not translate into "I (think) Maidana would quit". This is a fact

He is not a boxer but he must have some skills. He was able to score with big punches on Bradley far more often than most of Bradley's other oponents. I am sure he did not land all those hard punches by luck. It took some timing, positioning, and accuracy to land that many hard punches on a good champion.

In order for someone to look as if they are going to quit you need to accept a slight window of possibility that they would in the first place. That doesn't make any sense. I never thought he looked like he would quit. You are really nitpicking semantics and nuance but what you said is what you said, and I disagree witcha.

You never thought he looked like he wanted to quit is good for you. I didn't think he would quit, I said he looked like it. No matter how you try, it isn't the same.

i think we all know & recognize provo's limitations... but i think he has great technique (before he punched himself out).

im sure i will get crucified for this statement, but there were some moments where ruslan's bobbing and short hooks looked tyson-esque.

ive never seen ruslan before this fight, but i was actually impressed with the guy. his tight combos & explosiveness was highly appreciated.

i think with more conditioning and maturity, this dude might be trouble for EVERYONE.

Sounds to me as if you're just engineering a way to be right either way. If Maidana had quit you would say, "I knew he was gonna do that, saw it comin", and since he didn't it switched to "well it looked like he was gonna quit, but I never thought he would"

                  Wtf... Lol but whatever.

I was impressed with Provvy as well. A Maidana vs Provvy is somethin I'd wanna see. Too bad that's logjammed by the network feuds. I think Maidana keeps Prov dog at bay with the jab and Prov dog can't walk thru Chino's punches like bradley's. Fight goes the distance though, probably, and that says a lot right there

I think he showed alot of subtle boxing skills. Small feints, small dips to get in and unload that right hand over and over. Just little nuances in his game that allowed him to compete with Bradley. I'd say, judging on this fight alone, he showed more skills than say Rios has, who I regard as a complete plodder. Rios though has the strength and power to put most guys away.

I think Prov's biggest issue is that his face turns into jelly quickly. If someone with more power fights him, I'll kinda be concerned. Imagine Rios or Maidana throwing 1000 bombs and connecting 25-35% of the time
