He's not old either. He has taken a good break and that's good for his body. I think he can come back and be great once again.

Either Marquez' guy or Pacquiai's guy. Both would do!

I guess I'm referring to the fact that he isn't coming back at like 38 years old. He's 29 and after a career of tough fights, the break may be good for him.

However only time will tell after training and fighting. Sometimes fighters come back simply because they miss the process and are getting bored with life. He's already been a world champion and had big fights to see his limits. So the hunger to be "the best" may not be there. If it's simply "I just miss the bright lights and crowd", I'm not sure if he'll do well.

I hope that break did help him out. I also would like to see if a drop to 130 lbs. would be appropriate. His body looks flabby at 135 so I've always wondered that. Either way, I wish him all the luck in the world!

That's the other thing, I understand he's 29 but he's had a few rough fights.

I usually root for the comeback guy but all these recent failed comebacks has had me thinking twice before rooting for them. Success rate is pretty low. I mean, I hope he does well but not expecting much tbh.

Baby Bull This is a new day!

There isn't much more to accomplish and most of the guys at lightweight would beat the light punching wasted punching Diaz to death. Go try and do some law stuff and spend what you have made and enjoy life. This is not a part time sport! Boxing you don't come back to every couple years when you think you can beat someone new. Please go sit down

Time off could do him good. I still think he should give 130 a shot. He always had extra body fat on him. Being a pressure/accumilation punching type fighter the lower weight would only help.
