I've always said Mormeck wasn't a good choice for Wladimir (check my old posts). But he was David Haye's best win!

Wlad has fought a lot of undefeated prime opponents (Peter, Brock, Wach, Chambers, Ibragimov, etc). Haye has never fought even one.

Francesco Pianeta (BoxRec #14) is okay. He's a former amateur youth world champion, and has decent boxing skills. He's young & undefeated.

This is easy to believe, because Haye has a history of fighting old guys (Barrett, Ruiz, Harrison, Carl Thompson, etc).

The Haye fanboys will then say Pudar is a top ten heavyweight, even though any real boxing fan knows the WBA's rankings are ridiculous.

He may choose a prime opponent coming off a series of losses, like he did when he chose Chisora. Or Haye may choose a soft younger opponent like Travis Kaufmann, who is ranked by the WBA even though he has never beaten a single top 200 heavyweight.

You can bet your life Haye won't choose a prime opponent who is decent (like Chambers, Arreola, Helenius, Pulev, Fury, etc).
Knowing that Haye is terrified of tough opposition, it's highly likely it will be a very old and/or soft opponent.

How about a Audley rematch? The first one was a thriller.

Another ****** comment, especially coming from a diehard Wlad lover.

When is the last time Wlad engaged? That's right. Enough said.

Threads about Haye always bring the Klitschko fans flocking with their undeserving bull**** and Haye's opponents when Wlad and Vitali are fighting shiite opponents. You've got to really question why they get so upset and are so against Haye getting a shot when the brothers are choosing far inferior opponents.

Haye v Klitschko: Enzo Maccarinelli's round-by-round verdict on the big fight

Former cruiserweight world champion Enzo Maccarinelli gives Sportsmail his round-by-round verdict on the David Haye v Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight unification bout in Hamburg.
            ROUND 1
Haye came out looking cold and it's clear he's going to have problems getting inside that Klitschko jab.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9

            ROUND 2
David's eating the jab and there's nothing he can do. You can see him going through the options in his head.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9
            ROUND 3
The Londoner's best round, but I'd only call it level. Haye tagged him, but Klitschko came straight back at him.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 10

            ROUND 4
David's looking for one shot and Klitschko has worked that out. A great performance from Klitschko. One of his best.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9
            ROUND 5
The first really big right hand from Klitschko and, although he recovered, Haye was hurt. Big round.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9

            ROUND 6
Haye's having to do a lot of work and he's starting to tire. You can see the weight advantage of Klitschko.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9
            ROUND 7
A point deduction for Klitschko but Haye went down easily. I think they've just stolen that point.
            Klitschko 9 Haye 10

            ROUND 8
Haye's starting to look really scruffy, finding it hard either to get in range or to compete properly on the inside.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9
            ROUND 9
It's the same story, round after round. Haye can't get past the Klitschko jab and he's running out of time on my card.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9

            ROUND 10
Biggest right hand of the night from Klitschko but it landed on the bell. Haye's getting properly bullied here.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9
            ROUND 11
That's justice, Haye having a slip ruled a knockdown. He nicked a point earlier and now it's going to go the other way.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 8

            ROUND 12
Fair play to Haye, he's having a go, but it's too little, too late. Klitschko has been superb tonight. Really smart.
            Klitschko 10 Haye 9

            ENZO'S TOTALS: Klitschko 119 Haye 109
Haye kept trying to get to Klitschko, so he deserves credit for that, but he had his head boxed off.
That was the best Klitschko performance we've seen for a long time. He was so busy trying to keep out of the way that he never really got a chance, one right hand aside, to throw any punches that mattered. He had a plan but when it didn't work, he could not find Plan B.

Very fair reporting from 'Big Mac' there even though it was in his own interests to amke Davig look good.

If I had the chance to watch either 1 Haye fight or 10 Wlad fights the moment before I died, Haye would do it all the way. Considering the 10 Wlad fights would literally bore me to death, then it may as well be the wise choice to make. Klit nuthuggers are only here because they are bandwagon followers. None of them followed these brothers when Vitali was called a quitter and Wladimir rolled around on the floor every other fight.

Pianeta was beaten from pillar to post in sparring (Wlad's waitress said so), the fact that you've got to bring up "youth champion" to try and defend the selection is embarrassing. What about Vitali's selections? Sosnowski? I bet you hyped him up too, he's really set the world onfire since then. That Rogan fight was amazing, maybe Rogan will get a shot now.

I was talking about Wladimir, not Vitali. You Klitschko haters seem to think they're the same person!

Vitali has fought a few softies like Sosnowski, but he's also fought a lot of boxers who were Ring top ten at the time too (Peter, Arreola, Gomez, Solis, Adamek) all of whom were younger than himself.

Who I'd like to see Haye fight:

                    Vitali Klitschko
                    Kubrat Pulev
                    Johnathon Banks
                    Denis Boytsov
                    Robert Helenius

                    Who Haye will probably fight:

                    Tony Grano
                    Fres Oquendo
                    Jovo Pudar
                    Franklin Lawrence
                    Oleg Platov

Haye/Fury is a fight I'd love to see for the build-up alone.
