Haye is totally and utterly incapable of beating either brother in their prime. They are on an entirely higher level than Haye. While still in his prime, Haye only won an average 2 rounds on the judges' scorecards against a 35-year-old Wladimir. That means for every round Haye won, Wladimir won 5.

Chris Byrd and Sultan Ibragimov would have beaten Haye handily. Haye is not special at all.

By undeserved I mean that he only got the shot because of his big mouth and sense of PR. It's not unprecedented, but he was and is not the most deserving contender contrary to what his stans seem to believe.

Well, Vitali is not exactly prime though is he?

With regards to the bottom statement. that's just laughable.

So his big mouth won him the WBA title and undisputed CW championship? He was on PPV, something the Klitschkos have never been. A fanbase that will travel for him. Had an excellent amateur background. He was well deserved of a shot at the title. Especially in the climate of today's HW division.

I don't see how you can argue that the only reason he got a shot at Wlad was because of his mouth, when he was WBA champion and had beaten several other contenders handily.

Vitali won't give him a fair split, so he'll chase one of the contenders. Like him or hate him, Haye generates interest and - for some reason - excitement.
I think he generates more interest because he's british. Of course apart from that he's not hopeless like Chisora or Audley or how Price is in dangerous to be.

Soon enough Tyson will be much bigger drive (only if he doesn't lose).

I reckon both Pulev and Povetkin should be ranked higher and the 'title' he won was a fraud. The real WBA champ was Chagaev who Haye refused to fight BTW. Wlad fought him though.

Erm, why? Haye's best win is a version of Mormeck on the slide remember in a 50/50 see-saw fight that could have gone either way.

Haye was going to fight Chagaev in 2011 if the Wlad fight didn't happen, Chagaev was his mandatory.
