Until the last few decades, most entertainers and athletes couldn't even read or write. They're not responsible for social change, and it's not our job to hold them accountable for it. It makes someone a great humanitarian whenever they as an individual decide to become a role model or change something themselves. It's not an obligation.
I don't think you understand what a role model is.

Role models are not necessarily 'good'. Role models are individuals who have status in any group or organisation or society. Famous athletes don't 'choose' to be role models, they are role models because they're famous.

People imitate the visible behaviour of other people who're successful, because they instinctively want that success too. It doesn't matter what area of life you look at, it works the same everywhere. And athletes are no exception.

When a rich and famous athletes acts in a certain way, he's validating that behaviour. It looks cool to act that way, because that guy's cool and that's the way he behaves. This is why advertisers use famous people to sell their shit, because they get to associate their product with someone who's cool, someone who's a role model.

So when you look at an athlete who acts like a scumbag, you're perfectly entitled to say that he can act whatever way he wants, that he doesn't have to be a 'good' role model. But it's complete and utter bullshit to suggest that he's isn't a role model at all. Because like it or not, he is.

That sounds like an assumption, actually it is one. How do you know Broner wasn't the one who started trouble? I agree with you though, he needs some body guards to keep him in check so he doesn't feel the need to rob and hit old women, or attack security.

That's probably why I said it was purely speculation on your part. I wouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt knowing his crime ridden history.

I have a problem with haters like you always quick to jump into every Broner thread talking ****. You're free to hate who you want, but you guys come across as immature ass holes who like to do nothing more than troll. That is being a **** poster. Burner? I don't even know who that is. If you guys want to say ****** **** like "Oh he young", which is basically you guys clowning on blacks, than yes, I'm going to say something. I'm Hispanic, but I'll defend any race against ignorant little ****s like your self.
Hahaha....You have some front calling me immature yet adopt ******* use of the term 'hater', also, Burner is 'still blazin(which you already knew)', and how the **** you managed to find racism out of "he young" I have absolutely no idea.....maybe you imagine thats how people speak in "da ******" or something, which in itself is interesting since you referred to me as 'homie' in your opening sentence.

I think you're confused, a bit ******, ignorant or a combination of the three. West Hollywood's Charlie Zelenoff talks just like that....would you consider him "******", "homie"?

                  You're an idiot.

I could think of other things besides hater to call you, but I'll leave it plain and simple as you are obviously very limited in your understanding. Are you really that ignorant to think saying stuff like "he young doe" isn't clowning on a certain race? No, you're just trying to deny the ugliness you spew. You have a lot to be ashamed of and that's why you get so angry when someone calls you out on your ****ty character. If you don't like it, change your ways or continue to be an idiot. Its your choice. Charlie is a wannabe, that's why he talks like that. And you thought you actually made a point. LMAO

You are a total idiot for thinking that 'he young doe' is a play on a certain race, you dont have a clue. The trouble with this place is that most people here, including yourself, dont actually have any real idea of what racism really is, they just make it up as they go along and self determine what they percieve to be racist. I have been on the end of some pretty nasty racial abuse when I was a kid, so I know the difference.
"he young doe" is a play on the ****** way the kid talks, showing a lack of education, nothing more nothing less. You're are an insensitive, immature and perhaps a bit of a dumb lad to see it as anything else. Thats a matter for your own "shitty character", geez. Not mine.

In this instance(Broner) it has nothing, to do with colour but everything to do with ******ity and lack of education and upbringing....and talking of wannabe's, he is almost embarrasing in his attempts to morph himself into a floyd clone.
