Well then the issue is with Comcast only because Showtime doesn't show fights live out here on the west coast. Many people have comcast and that is still a huge demographic of subscribers gone down the drain who will just stream the fights live on their computers. Mark my words this Hurts GBP more than it helps them

Well, it's fine by me.. Dish offered us Showtime for less than half the price for the remainder of our contract when we called to cancel it awhile back.

Arum will die within a few years who knows what will happen with Top Rank then.

It doesnt make sense for HBO to completely write off all of GBP. But the HBO sports guy can always be fired and they can work together again in another 5 years or whatever,

Divisions that matter? What Matters to Golden boy and what matters to boxing are two different things.

          Every division matters.

You're red tho, ah well have fun watching 3 divisions.

There was a considerable drop in production quality after the HBO Sports guy was replaced; but it was only noticeable to hardcore fans/TV people.

I think this will considerably hurt GBP, though. Nobody has Showtime, it'll just further marginalize the business.

However the majority of people on the west coast have comcast and they don't get Showtime live. for instance if the fight starts at 9:30 ET/PT we on the west coast literally have to wait until 9:30 PM to see a fight that has already happened and everyone is already talking about it on twitter and it just sucks. All those subscribers go down the drain because they wanna watch it live so they stream it on the internet.

nah, it's the other way around, GBP just produce fighters but it's HBO who turns them into stars. GBP made a big mistake when they listened to haymon who cares for no one but himself, they're so blinded of the easy buck, they do not think of the long term
