What does Steve Kim at Max Boxing mean by this comment?

"HBO also announces their plan to sabotage Gary Russell's career by signing TBA away from Showtime.””

    It's a joke.

Since both networks have supplied bums to Russell this far, it means HBO is planning to steal those bums away now.

Don't know but that's why we need for all the facts to come out. Funny how so many here are already blaming GB when Kim obviously said "HBO screwed themselves with that move".

So to me it sounds like something went down and HBO severed ties with GB. Not a smart move with the fastest growing promoters in the sport and one that is younger than TR.

hbo could be planning an exit from the boxing market.

TBA means "To Be Announced", which is pretty much every Garry Russel opponent is until the last minute.

Exactly, but this a funny ass comment though

I guess that is one of the downfalls of Russell being a free agent and not having a contract with a promoter. That move has its pluses and minuses.
