Who misses the old and REAL Floyd Mayweather jr?

Watching his interviews prior to the Hopkins-Taylor fight and after he fought Diego. This guy was pure class and every one of his fights were action packed as well.

He always showed great respect and humility, this is actually who he really is. You can still tell by the way he show flashes of his old self during the Post Fights against Cotto/Hatton etc.

Please stop the lies that he must 'create' this persona to sell. This persona sells, but so did Ray Leonards, so did Holyfield's, so did Oscar's, so did Tommy Hearns..

How did Hagler become a super star? He beat Hearns, but did he change his persona? No.

floyd is still floyd but i like the new more humbler floyd he seems to have learned a few things about being humble maybe it happened in jail or maybe it happened over time but it does seem hes chilled out a bit on the brashness.

Don't you mean LW Floyd, and WW Floyd???

There is no new and old. It's just a style change up since he moved up a weight class.

I still think 140 is his best weight class. Power, speed, experience, best of both worlds.

        Kinda like MJ in 90'-93'.

that's also the weight class where he cherry picked the most. hence why he looked the best. also where was the power? he hit a defenseless gatti for 6 rounds and couldn't hurt him(besides the knockdown after the ref said stop punching)

Oh. Then I really couldn't care less. He knows what sells PPV's, and he's done that.

                Chop Chop Corley, and Bruselles.

My mistake, I actually think 135 is his best weight class. I was only thinking of 130 and 140. LOL.

"The old and real floyd mayweather" smh Stop IT!

Floyd is real thats why people don't like him cause he speaks the truth and people hate the truth he don't put on no front like these others fighters

Like Floyd said before he fought De La Hoya Oscar wish he could do what Floyd do and say the things Floyd say but he can't because he gotta keep up this fake image Floyd don't gotta do that cause he's REAL!!

As for his style you gotta start fighting smarter as you move up in weight sure Floyd can go out there and **** with guys buts why when you got the skills to make the fight easy for yourself I mean look at Tim Bradley when out there fought ****** and probably gonna have brain damage now and FOR WHAT!? So people can say wow your a warrior but guess what aint none of them people gonna take care of him aint nobody gonna help his family if cant do it no more people need to stop hating and start taking notes Floyd is showing people how you have a perfect career
