168 or 175. Spinks fought a lot of his LHW fights at 171 so 168 will not be a drain issue like it was for Dawson. I have never seen a fighter in the 168-175 range as deadly as Spinks.
Michael Spinks would have brutally knocked Ward out Cold.

Spinks was a great LHW however if you're being honest the guys he beat were pretty much worthless.
He beat Qawi, which is an excellent win, but Dwight was all of 5'5 and tailor made for Spinks style.
Ward has already beaten more quality fighters at 168 than Spinks did in his entire reign at 175.Comment

E. Charles, Spinks, Archie Moore and Bob Foster were the greatest light heavyweights in history. Mike Spinks would ko Ward.Comment

Spinks didn't have enough time at 175 because he moved up to beat Larry Holmes.Spinks was a great LHW however if you're being honest the guys he beat were pretty much worthless.

That version of Holmes who Spinks beat is still better than every heavyweight not name Wladimir today. I will easily pick the Holmes of Spinks I over current Vitali.
Michael Moorer didn't have a great LHW resume either, but he very well could have beaten Ward. A lot of these older LHW'S would all had been SMW'S today because of 24 hour weight in. Remember h2h have nothing to do with resume.
Vitali might have beaten Frazier.. yet Vitali's resume is utter garbage compare to Frazier.Comment
