True the landscape could always change.

Things are always moving in boxing, but if Peterson beats Lucas then he is suppose to fight Garcia, but that wouldn't happen until maybe late July early August at the earliest. So if Floyd fights in September like he says I don't see either getting the fight, but I can easily see the winner of Garcia-Lucas/Garcia winner getting Floyd next May.

If Alexander wins he just makes too much sense to not be at the top of the list to fight Floyd.

I think so too. If Devon beats Brook convincingly I don't mind him getting a Floyd fight.

I think Floyd kinda screwed himself by fighting Cotto at 154 (he wanted the biggest $ for his next fight but he didn't think ahead). He knew Cotto was still closer to a WW so it wasn't a huge risk to put 154 in the contract. But doing that now everyone expects him to fight Canelo at 154 who is a true JMW making for a fight that Floyd won't so readily accept.

                    Brutalize

Devon wouldn't brutalize his own breakfast.

If Alexanders looks the way he did against Chino, I think he'll cruise to a comfortable UD or get a late stoppage.
