Would you rather break your hand for a 15K fight or 100K fight? Fighting a setup and breaking his hand pays less than fighting a contender and breaking your hand.

Would you rather break your hand fighting for 15k knowing you will win or would you rather take 100k and lose (most likely take a beating too) cause now you have stepped up vs people you can't afford to fight 1 handed against. Oh and you know how **** goes nowadays when you lose that "0".

But like I said, he's only fighting on Telemundo or whatever other channels. He's not taking up anyone's budget or slot on HBO or Showtime.

They have to. Benavidez is vulnerable. They know what goes down in camp and behind the scenes. We don't.

          That is correct.

Then he needs to retire. None of the other hundreds of prospects who face each other on ShowBox and other media are taking non-stop setups like Benavidez. He is the perfect example of over-protection which does no good for a career. Obviously there is a huge concern regarding him. Probably his chin since he was badly hurt against a guy who is not some KO artist.
