Matthysse is 30 already and says he's not moving up.
The only way I can see him moving up is the big money Mayweather shot.

This guy thinks Matthysse genuinely weighed in at 163 against Dallas.

That's a confirmed mistake. He was 153, not 163.

I agree with you. He's not really going to grow into welterweight at this point. He may move up for certain fights, but that's it.

I know Peterson would be a lot stronger at 147. Matthysse, he's not really that big.

Pacquiao aside, has there been a serious force at 147 shorter than 5'7" since Whitaker?
I think Matthysse will end up going to full welterweight for the money but it's hard to tell if he'd be as much of a force there.

This is a F8cking ******, pointless/redundant question
Lucas is a natural 140 fighter and will never go to Welter
Maybe a catchweight of 144 MAX to fight Maidana at the end of his career
Otherwise he is @ 140 till he retires.

if lucas destroys petersen he will be very avoided at 140... he,s already being avoided... he,s gonna have to move up sooner or later and at his age it,s not gonna take long... i still say he beats just about everyone at 147...
