Plus he was headhunting. The body attack was non-existent. With Bradley already on wobbly legs as it is I think some solid work to the body would have paid off and really effective.

It was round 7. He should have taken Tim out that round. He had Timmy hurt in Round 6 and left him off the hook

He either punched himself out or though he'd get the KO later on in the fight

Agree with the OP. Provodnikov could have easily won that fight had he stepped it up sooner. He probably wasn't confident he could catch Bradley on the move and didn't want to waste anything but the final two rounds proved otherwise.

When I rewatch the fight I'll look for what you described after the 3rd.

But as far as what I recall, Provodnikov looked like he punched himself out during the 2nd. Then took the round off during the 3rd to try to regain his energy. Meanwhile Bradley continued to outwork him, and really put in some great bodywork to sap that energy right out of him. It was clear as day, Provodnikov's shots didn't have the same thudding power on them as they did in the beginning. And I think Bradley deserves credit for that, for composing himself and setting up some great shots to the body.

When Bradley listen to his corner then he was boxing beautifully behind the left jab but Provo even though was or seem like he was hurting Timmy everytime he touched him you could see he didn't have the stamina to keep on pressing, especially when Timmy started digging to Provo body.
