Provodnikov Only Has Himself To Blame

I havent watched the fight back to see which round it was but it was somewhere between round 4-6 when he let Bradley easily win a round who he himself shouldve won. Im not talking about the 3rd round or whichever it was that he got tired and took the round off but it was one soon after.

He had Bradley hurt the previous round. The next round started and you could tell Bradley was dazed the whole round. He was just running and throwing a pawing jab. Not really doing anything. Provo***ov had his full bearings and was in control of the fight.

That round shouldve been so easy for him to win but he just slowly followed Tim the whole round, smiled everytime Tim landed some B.S. and then just slowly started walking him down again without cutting off the ring. Now there was rounds like the 3rd which were kinda similar but I understood because he seemed tired. There were also rounds later but I kinda understood because he was busted up but the round Im talking about was no excuse.

There is no way in the world he shouldve lost it. You cant throw a round like that away. I was watching the fight with someone and I kept saying it during the round. Sure enough the fight comes and he loses it by that round. If he won that round then he wouldve won the fight by a point on 2 of the judges cards. Does anyone know what Im talking about?

He should've upped the pressure in the 4th round, after taking the 3rd as a breather. If he needed two rounds to recover, then he should've upped it in the 5th.

There was no excuse to let rounds 3-10 slip away it did, only to have a last-minute rally in the 11th and 12th. Had he done what he did in those two rounds mid-fight, we would be talking about the Ruslan - Bradley stoppage, not the Bradley - Ruslan UD.

provodnikov won the ****ing fight by a country mile.

3, 10-8 rounds atleast 1,2,12, w a missed knockdown in the 1st. he also almost should have gotten a 10-8 in the sixth and you could argue a 10-7 in the 12. He won the 11th clearly and the 4th and 7th were close. His power shots were much more effective all night long. Clean effective punching.

Dont get me wrong, Bradley deserves all the credit in the world. Fought his heart out under extreme circumstances. Seriously impressive, but at the end of the day the damage to bradley was far more traumatic than the damage to provodnikov.

not to mention all the time bradley went flying into the ropes and was held up by them which is actually a knockdown as well.

If a fighter doesn't do something, it's because he can't. After the 2nd round, it was all about getting his energy back for another big attack (6th round) and keeping some in reserve for the final stretch (11 and 12).

I don't buy this idea that he only has himself to blame. The guy exceeded everyone's expectations, did great - but only has himself to blame because he physically could not do anymore?

Exactly...people claiming Bradley got a gift are nuts...Ruslan was getting tagged a hell of a lot in the middle rounds then came on strong late...the biggest chunk of the fight he lost in...

He cudda hurt Bradley 10000 times, doesn't matter if you can't put him away...
