Thank god for Somebody saying this I'm not even a bradley fan but as a fan of the sport how can u sit there n knock this guy at all for anything he did last night . There's not too many fighters that are alive that would've tooken that punishment and kept going in that fight. Lrt alone pull of the win. Smh at the people booing him last night

He showed a great will to win, one may dislike his style or think him overrated , yet the man deserves respect.

It's to be expected, once there is a reputation attached to a fighter and it gains momentum, there is usually only one way to view them. It happens a lot of times to these dudes...Alexander is a boring guy, Bradley is a no talent bum, Alvarez never fights anyone worth a damn, Maidana has no talent, Broner is an ATG, Floyd is a cherry picker, etc.

Most of us are gonna pick fighters that we favor for one reason or another and defend them no matter what someone else says and when one of these common perceptions fits our agenda, we jump on the wagon and floor the pedal. It's just human nature and some guys get a stigma attached to their names and they can do no wrong (or no right) in certain cases.

That's why hopefully there is some degree of neutrality in the panel of judges selected to award the fight to the winner as they are supposed to be judging what they see in the ring and not what the public says about these guys. It doesn't always work out as planned but you could see that if it were left up to us fans, certain fighters could knock other dudes out cold and still end up losing the fight on technicalities or something.

Yeah, I mean come on now, it was a much closer fight than what most people initially thought but if you are a fan of the sport, that fight was just awesome. Tremendous respect to both guys for their heart and efforts.
