Go for the longivity, take pride in being the "SMARTER FIGHTER" and stop trying to appeal to fans who only want to see Brawls. Brawlers careers tap out while they are in their Early 30's, smarter fighters are still go strong well into their mid to late 30's and if they stay in shape and take care of themselves properly

Bradley don't need to change ANYTHING about his fighting style...boxers need to stop chasing Mayweather/Pacquiao type of Stardom and just BOX

        the situations aren't comparable
Hopkins got a draw, KO'd him in a rematch, never looked back
Bradley got a gift, and lost all respect by bragging like he did something
people didn't like Hopkins, but all respected him
Bradley doesn't need to change his style, just shut his fucking mouth
aside from the Pac fight, Bradley has delivered vs good opponents
the Arum agenda was transparent, and Bradley's taking the brunt of it
if he keeps winning (legitimately), he'll revive his career
he might not become a big star but he has top fighter quality

BRAD'S a hell of a fighter, could it be that he watched,
what JMM did to Pac, and decided to work on Power.....
That's really the only thing, that he's been Lacking!!!

I agree, but point blank, he will never be like Hopkins. Hopkins, at 49yrs old, is still on another level....

It doesn't matter that he really lost to Pacquiao. Some people have a short attention span. This guy kept showing his underrated skills in fights where he was either expected to lose OR at least be in a competitive fight.

Nobody would've thought back then that he would handle Peterson the way he did. The Holt win was a bit shaky but showed his grit, by getting off the canvas and still boxing the guys ear off and winning a decision. Beats Alexander, a guy who was considered the more skilled of the two. More than likely would've outmaneuvered Amir Khan had they ever fought. Khan always gets knocked out when he lost, which didn't necessarily prove that Garcia and the other guy were better Boxers/Fighters. Bradley IMO could've outpointed him.

He just has to get on a busy schedule and get on a win streak, and people will forget about the Pacquiao fight.

It's really unfair that the people hating on Bradley the most are the people who thought he was some tailor made bum Pacquiao would knock out in 5 or 6. He did far better than most expected, but people for some reason think worse of him.

yup. guys are just angry 'cause he didn't follow the script and get knocked out.

so what if he thought he won? he thought he won before the scores were read, celebrated at the final bell. right before the 12th his corner told him he only needed one more round and he'd be champ.

in reality, so many rounds in that fight were razor close. Pacquiao missed a heck of a lot. i have no complaints about either guy getting the decision. there have been much, much, much worse decisions read out in recent years, but none sparked the same kind of media uproar. how curious. one can only conclude that many in the industry were worried that they stood to lose revenue if Pacquiao's 7 year unbeaten streak should be halted by this unspectacular but highly skilled little artisan.

Seth Abraham, the former President of HBO Sports, actually said it was harder to make fights if a single promoter owned the entire division

One thing Abraham stressed during his reign at HBO was a certain competitive balance among the promoters. There were no exclusive output deals under his watch.

“You want to have competition among the promoters so that you can get the best fights and negotiate fair market value prices,’” he explained. “If one promoter has a monopoly on a weight class or a group of fighters, it makes it more difficult from the standpoint of a television network acquiring the rights. The more the merrier, really, the more promoters who are successful. So during my time I was at HBO, you had Main Events with Dan and Kathy Duva and you had Don King and Bob Arum; Cedric Kushner had some very good fighters.

Although, the cold war between GB and TR seems to be something new and different.

Bradey lost imo, but he didn't deserve the flak that followed.

For some reason boxing fans blame the winning boxer when judges rob their opponents when in reality they have nothing to do with it. Boxers just do the tough bit - the training and fighting.

Those who were talking about his wife, kids and sending death threats etc need their heads read.
