If true, that's a little weak on Broner's part. He should fight at the champs place, it's not like he has to go overseas.

That's why this doesn't make sense to me. Garcia (a Haymon fighter) is fighting Judah in BK.

But even Paulie says that this is a rumor so that's all it is at this point.

Maybe Broner doesn't want to pay a lot in taxes. It's the same reason why Floyd and Pac refuse to fight there.

Good for Paulie. He may be the weakest of the welterweight champs but he is still the champ and the champ calls the shots. If Broner won't fight him in his back yard then Broner is not the super confident "it doesn't matter what weight I fight at" or "anyone can get it" guy he pretends to be. Paulie had to go to the champion's home to win that title so let Broner do the same or stay a lightweight or go to 140.
