Pathetic aint it. The other thread is just cringe worthy. A bunch of people who been on the all things "******" and "thug" crusade are all now rooting for J. Prince to hurt Floyd. These are some dumb ass posters, first of yall boxing fans, now yall talking about J Prince some type of Mafia hood fella....I remember he was shut down by Suge Knight back in the 90's.
Just chill and lets leave it in the boxing ring. Yall on here talking about killing.
****in hypocrites.Comment

Exactly what I've been saying. You need to have a personality to sell PPV in boxing. Ward needs a rival. Someone like a modern day Nigel Benn who'll rile him up and get him out of his shell. The good guy image only works for a boxer when you can go in the ring and KO guys left and right and/or you're a pretty boy a la Oscar DeLaHoya. People will respect that you're a gentleman outside of the ring but a monster inside. KOs help raises the public's perception of a fighter. "Man you see all his knockouts? I'm definitely going to watch to see him knock this guy out!"This is a good comparison the ones that talk all that sh** sell, the ones that are all humble and quiet like some people on here claim all boxers should be like, dont sell. lets see all of you that hate floyd and broner go support the humble quiet ones and see how much they sell on ppv. The thing is Self Promoters will always make more money. I think Ward is a great fighter #2 pfp, but who does he have in his weight class or the one above it that can help him draw fans to buy a ppv? Only Bhop and we know he would beat the brakes off of Bhop and he said he wont fight Ward. other than that he has no credible dance partner. Hes gonna have to go to heavyweight to make big ppv money.
The promoters can only do so much with a guy with such a squeaky clean image. Gold medal or not, he needs to show some personality to sell himself in the boxing game.Comment

Yeah. These guys don't have a clue about J Prince. Prince was the man for several years, mainly because of his money and connections. He used to be big on feuding with rappers if his artists had any issues with them. He's still the man in Texas. So I could see him intimidating Floyd back in the day. But that was back in the day. The reality is now Floyd has got his bankroll up. He's worth wayyyyyy more than Prince. You need money to go to war, so if Floyd really wanted to get at him like that he could. My take is Floyd's going to ignore it before he gets to riled up. When you run up on a man and intimidate him, you better either kill him or put the fear of God in him. Because if that same man gets the opportunity to gain power, he can come back to hurt you. If that event really went down that way, I bet Floyd hasn't forgotten it. Floyd could destroy Prince, simply through his boxing connections alone, but will probably let it slide.Comment

I haven't seen anyone rooting for J. Prince to hurt Floyd.
They may snigger at Floyd's new-found silent act in response to his comments, but that's not the same thing.Last edited by Weebler I; 03-14-2013, 09:34 AM.Comment
