Sick of GBP & these Sanction Bodies.

So ******man (suliman) from the WBC doesnt wasnt unified champions but is allowing Canelo to unify with Trout. WBC\WBA SMW belts.

I bet he wont tell Canelo to choose which belt he wants to keep.

Also with GBP running the Ring Magazine the Canelo(#2) & Trout(#3) will most likely be for the Ring Belt just like Mayweather(#1)-Guerrero(#3) will be for the Ring Belt.

shiet if it wasnt for Dawson being the Ring Champ, I bet Hopkins(#1) - Cloud(#5) wouldve been for the Belt.

whats going on with all these GBP fighters fighting for Ring Belts??

oh let me not forget Garcia and Khan being all of sudden for the Ring Belt.

    Damn shame!!!!!

might as well consider the WBC part of Golden Boy Promotions who ever is not apart of Golden Boy and have their titles, they will do what ever they can to get that belt from that fighter

    WBC is a ***ing JOKE!

Just to point out Cloud was #2 when #1 Hopkins fought him. Cloud was only just now dropped to #5 after losing to The Nard Dog

The RING belt doesnt matter anymore. It lost its prestige quite a while back. The good thing about it, it isn't official so it can be obscure and they can't do anything about it.

Yes the WBC are crooks, so are the WBA.

The other two aren't as bad. They have done some ****** things in the past but they aren't comparable to the WBC.

yea I know it really doesnt hold too much weight nowadays but its still the only title belt that you can not be stripped of over ****** **** also unless it has changed, its the only belt you dont have t pay any fees for.

Back then when it was #1 vs #2 or even #3 atleast you knew that one of Top 3 would be considered a legit Champ. They would also reset the lineage if there wasnt one in place. Now you can have #1 vs #4 & 5 and lay claim to being best in the division..

Yeah dont be surprised if WBC strips Ward once Chave Jr aka Vaca De Dinero moves up to SMW....:RRONTFL:

The RING belt used to have great prestige. The RING was originally THE arbiter of all standards. RING rankings were the only criteria that the boxing public went by from it's beginning for over 50 years. Then sometime in the late 1970s there was a rankings scandal involving some sort of payoff. Then it seems to me there was talk about it going out of business for a little while and it never was the same after.

In fact, it was only prominent during the time of Nat Fleischer, and -after he died in 1972 -a couple of his long-time analysts, who followed him I think Dan Daniel and/or Nat Loubet. I got it for years it was great. It had all the European and other results at the back, and a large wrestling section around the middle.

WBC doesn't disallow unifications from happening so both belts could be on the line on fight night for the sake of the promotion, but they usually make the fighter choose a belt after the fight.

Also, Sulaiman recently did say he'll make Canelo choose. In fact, the first time the rule was ever mentioned was in regards Canelo if I remember correctly.
