Comments Thread For: Mikkel Kessler is Preparing For War With Carl Froch

WBA super-middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler insists there will be "death" in his eyes when he fights Carl Froch at The O2 Arena on May 25.

The pair are preparing to go toe-to-toe once again, two years after their famous meeting in Denmark where Kessler ended Froch's unbeaten record as a professional in controversial circumstances.

Many felt the fight was much closer than the judge's scorecards suggested and now Kessler has no qualms taking on the Nottingham-born fighter in his own country.

So glad this fight didn't fall through. Rolling with Froch, wouldn't be mad if Kessler won at all.

For some reason, with each passing day I'm rolling more with Kessler. I think he'll decide to box Froch instead of fighting him this time around. Cruising to a UD.

good fight for boxing. ward should fight the winner in thier backyard. Cant see no other 168 fighters for ward to fight. and by beating them in thier homes will start shaping his stardom

May 25 still seems so far away.

I don't think Kessler takes a Ward rematch unless Ward travels. Froch will go to the States again if need be and will probably be able to make Ward an offer to entice him to Nottingham.

I'm all for the winner getting a rematch in Europe. Ward would be huge if he could go to Nottingham and beat Froch.Froch is so good at home..ask Bute. If Kessler wins ,I'm sure he could russle up 40,000 plus Danes to cheer him on. If Ward was to beat either in Europe convincingly,he would be #1 on my P4P List.I have him at #2 now. If the fight is state-side then I'll have good seats hopefully.
