  • Comments Thread For: Seth Mitchell: Looking Forward to Getting Back in Ring

In reality, Seth Mitchell hasn’t been out of the ring that long — his last appearance was less than four months ago.

But that bout was his first pro loss, a defeat that saw the 30-year-old heavyweight knocked down multiple times and stopped in less than two rounds by Johnathon Banks on HBO.

Mitchell was supposed to return last month on the undercard to Adrien Broner’s win over Gavin Rees. That bout would have been a rematch with Banks, a chance for Mitchell to get back his loss and attempt to bring his career back on track. Yet Banks suffered a training injury, and Mitchell had to settle for watching the HBO card instead of being on it. [Click Here To Read More]

I think Mitchell will be well-prepared for the rematch and won't get stopped and may even win this time.

          Mitchell we'll fight you!

I'm with Team Leo Nolan, another Detroit fighter and we would jump at a fight with you as long as we can get the right contract and billing. Hit me up @ Fitgodsway@yahoo. com Eric

Seth has beeen another hbo hype job. He has no natural boxing skills so it was obvious he was going to get ktfo by banks. He needs to focus on just trying to ko his opponet within te first four rounds. He cant box and does not have the skills or expericence to do so; especially against boxers like Banks that grew up boxing

He has talent but has to work on his defence. He does pretty well for a guy that started boxing as late as him. That speaks for his talent. But he has to improve much more and i liked what he said in that interview. You have to like Mitchell as a person and as a fighter.
