he just let the biggest fight of his career slip away

maybe JMM thinks he should let Morales and Pac fight it out and try and get the winner, or maybe he thinks he should fight MAB instead, either one is a great option

Can JMMarquez fight Barrera @130 and still keep his featherweight belts? If so, then this is THE best option. Fighting one of his mandatories instead won't be so attractive and he can't afford to wait to fight the winner of Pac-El Terrible.

A unification bout with either Chi or Harrison is another option. This is good for the boxing fans.

JMM is just not worthy to any of the three big boxing stars. let's all note that JMM havent proven anything yet. the best thing he ever had in the fight of his life is a draw to a half disabled Pacman. before he gets a match with the two great mexican fighters (MAB/EM), he should first get through against the Pacman. the way i see it, JMM could beat MAB or EM easier than Pac. but since JMM knows he will lose to Pacman, if that happens he may no longer have a shot with the two mexicans coz everybody would think he's just not worthy. JMM doesnt deserve the $1.5M. he was already lucky he was offered $750K.

Are you sure? I read somewhere (not sure if it's at the maxboxing board, I'll check that out again) that Magnifico is preparing against Ponce de Leon.

That's BS. JMM is a double champion and perhaps the best technical fighter at 126~130. If that's not worth enough, then I don't know what is. A fight with Barrera never happened all these years, is he avoiding him? Morales may have an excuse as they both are Top Rank fighters. Boxing politics for you.

You're right bandito. JMMarquez will be fighting Israel Vasquez

                      Here's the article from Box-Latino
