I think people are seriously overrating Peterson.

Peterson is a good fighter no doubt. his pressure and will to win are his biggest assests but he is a come forward fighter.

let's just set aside names and look at it like this. you have a come foward fighter, takes a lot of punches and who's been dropped multiple times in the past. now that fighter is fighting on of the best p4p punchers in the sport.

honestly what do you think will happen? Matthysse should win this fight by KO.

the WBC ordered the winner of Garcia vs Morales 2 to fight the winner of Ajose vs Matthysse. did Garcia comply with the ruling? nope he chose to ignore the WBC and fight Zab Judah.

not fighting a mandatory opponent when ordered is a duck plain and simple. just because the crooked WBC doesn't want to enforce it's rules doesn't change the fact.

the WBC has ordered that fight again saying the winner of Garcia Judah must face Matthysse. what will the Garcia nut huggers excuse be if he ignores the WBC again?
