But the two fighters are going in different directions. Garcia faces former champion Zab Judah on April 27th in Brooklyn, and there are ongoing discussions to have Matthysse challenge IBF champion Lamont Peterson on May 18th.

Infact, he comes out great either way. He either gets Garcia or gets to avenge his Judah loss so what he instead needs to focus on is LP because he's not a joke. If Lucas overlooks him then he's going to be in deep before he knows it. All the other stuff will take care of itself. Peterson is no Mike Dallas

I know and agree but I still think that the fans have him feeling himself alot. You can tell he thinks he's the ish right now. Im really really really looking forward to the LP fight.

I compare him to Broner in that no matter what you think about the Zab or Devon fights, I tend to give guys a slight pass on stuff like that when they fight Southpaws. The fact is that most guys just dont know how to fight them.

Everyone was on here killing Broner after the Ponce fight and I said that the kid is good and will look 10x better against a righty. Everyone was hyping Gamboa but I said Ill take Broner all day because I think he has way better fundementals. He just wasnt use to fighting a lefty.

I said the same about Lucas. Ive said all along that I really wanna see how he looks against a top notch orthodox fighter. Then we will know how good he really is. Both him & LP are hungry. I hope they put that on the double head in Atlantic City with Devon-Brook because I wouldnt miss it for anything. Him & Peterson has war & FOTY written all over it
