    Mexico's Juan Carlos Salgado (26-2-1, 16KOs) is leaving the super featherweight division and plans to debut as a lightweight in his very next fight. This past Saturday in California, Salgado lost his IBF championship when he was dropped and stopped in two rounds by division rival Argenis Mendez. Following the match, Salgado revealed that he he badly struggled to make the division limit of 126. In the days leading up to the weigh-in, Salgado was forced to take part in numerous daily runs and repeatedly hit the sauna to shave off the last few pounds.

    Salgado they been dropping you for a while. Its the chin not the weight. Did you have weight issues vs Uchiyama too?

      I don't see this guy winning a belt at 135,i don't think it's his weight,he just has no power,his boxing is just avg too and so is his speed,kind of hard to become a champion with those "qualities"

          He has nothing to do in the 135 division

          Quit all ready he was KTFO by a 130 pounder imagine what can happen to Him in the 135 Division where the punches are harder....LMAO
