That's the thing I don't get bout them certain fight fans. I cannot stand Broner, but I don't see how a canelo supporter can come in this tread & bash him. Not a canelo supporter. At the very least , this is Broner's 2nd weight class & until canelo actually (beats) a real good jr middleweight, Broner has by far the better resume. Takes a whole lotta nerve for a canelo fan to talk crap about broner.

I don't like either & I believe both are overrated, but i am reasonable enough to know which 1 of worse & that's canelo by far.

By the age of 23/24 Mayweather had fought Corrales, Manfredy and Hernandez

Meanwhile, by the age at the age of 23 Broner just finished fighting Gavin Rees and will be facing a shot Malignaggi coming off a beating.

I dont hate the dude. I want to see him challenge himself just like you want to see Broner challenge himself. Being that Canelo is the GBP cash cow and has been for quite some time now. He has far more pull than you give him credit for. Remember, he was about to be feed to Floyd back in 09 before the Marquez fight. GBP was touting him as the next coming before he even had a fight in the US by trying to put him in the ring with Floyd. But noone knew who he was outside of Mexico, and GBP came back and said he was too green(being that they saw the star power the young man had in Mexico), and thus the Canelo train that we have today. So no, I dont blame GBP as much as I blame Canelo himself. He has far too much pull for it to be a factor.

When was the last time Saul tweeted and made videos that "so and so can get it, and he can get it, and if he wants it he can get it too"? When was the last time he pretended not to know who his biggest competitors are?


Never. Saul, @ 22 is fighting someone who is arguably the best in the division. He was lined to fight Williams.

The difference between Canelo and Broner;

Canelo is quiet, it is evident who calls the shots and it seems that GBP is the one preventing him from fighting 'tougher' opponents. But he knows his place in this and never opens his mouth.

Broner runs around calling out everyone and their mother, calls himself the 'can man' but fights Rees.
