Im going with either Gamboa or Mares.

Gamboa seems possible since he got caught up in that drug crap in Florida and wants to clean his name and start new and move to Cali to avoid association with that health clinic. Or Mares since he is a local guy but Mares has a fight coming up soon.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's Gamboa.

Roach will have to reevaluate his whole teaching structure to make defense a bigger part of his pupils boxing dynamic or I'm afraid we will be see more Ko'd or TKO'd Roach fighters.
Nonsense, Roach is a very well schooled coach and fighter. He learned from one of the greatest coaches ever.

He teaches defense, offense and everything in between. Fighters lose, fighters win but it's not the coach that is responsible for that.

Roach's legacy stands for itself, just because Khan and Pac have lost, doesn't mean he is no longer teaching something.

It's part of being a coach, you lose some you win some. Roach was on an incredible stretch and he ran into some bad luck last year. It's not like Manny lost against some bum, he lost to another ATG.

Don't forget JCC Jr. I think maybe the money has gotten to Roach in the case of JCC Jr he pays Roach so much money and he tells Roach how he was gonna train basically and Roach doesn't argue cause hes making big money. It kinda gets to the point where the coach is being bossed by the fighter cause the fighter is bringing in money.I can't say its been the same across the board for all his fighters

That has nothing to do with Roach as a trainer though. That has to do with Jr being an ass.

Do you think that Roger Mayweather calls the shots in with FLoyd? No, he just does what he is told to do. Most big named boxers that get to that level are the one's in charge, it's unfortunate but true.

Now you will have exceptions depending on the boxer but big named stars with huge egos tend to be like that.
