rigo's tentative a$$ will always make him an inferior counterpuncher. he can't even counterpunch cordoba while he's getting chased around the ring. rigo is always wary of getting hit and if he feels his opponent's power his workrate cuts in half. he's only effective if he can intimidate his opponent. he put cordoba down but when cordoba stood up and started fighting back rigo danced his way to a boring sd.

If you can't see that Rigo's got better movement than Donaire ...

Untrue. That happened one time, against Cordoba. Against Marroquin, Rigo got tagged twice with hard left hooks, wobbled, clinched, and then proceeded to return fire. Despite being rocked by those punches, Guillermo never went down and even put the much larger Marroquin down twice.

Too much credence is paid to the Cordoba jab and Rigo's subsequent reaction. It was only "El Chacal's" seventh pro fight. Even a supremely gifted boxer like himself has to be allowed a professional learning curve, however slight.

Rigo possesses masterful movement. Donaire is perhaps more athletic; he moves around a lot more, but there's a lot of wasted effort. Guille is much more precise in every way.

Maybe. Maybe not. And that's the point: it's virtually 50/50.

I would have to agree. Anything Rigo does, Nonito can do better.

Rigo comin for that @$$! You better train hard.

It'll be a tactical boring fight with Donaire initiating the action, and Rigo moving and picking his spots.

I see a decision going to Rigo.
