I honestly think Ward is possibly the worst fight B-Hop could take right now
I honestly think the opposite...its the worst fight WARD can take right now imo

B.Hop is a ****ing genius...dudes keep dwelling on the fact he said he wouldn't fight Ward for 15M...but he also said he has a habit of destryoing YOUNG fighters and he said he felt noone could beat him at 168....the old man is hustling and I'll never knock his

Ward better hope Jr. gets his act together and puts together a string of wins. It's his only hope at headlining a PPV that I can see.
If Martinez took him to school that bad, what do you think Ward will do to him? B-hop will be way more competitive than Jnr.

because on paper the fight isnt a ppv level fight. The 1st ppv for any fighter needs to sell more than the cost of the marketing/promoting. Bhop is not enough of an a-side to sell a ppv and ward has never been on.

Wrad 1st ppv should be Chavez or Martinez. Names people know and a an opponent that ward can look good against to make him more appealing to the buying public.

Spoken like an ignorant fool. Bernard's 48. You honestly don't think he'd fight Ward if he were around 30 himself?

            Agreed 100%.

But PPV isn't about competitiveness. It's just as much a game of names and fanbases. That's why Sergio is pursuing a rematch in a fight that he won 11 rounds in. Chavez Jr. is the money guy from 160-175.

B-hop is my favorite fighter of all time. But at this point in his career i see andre ward taking the "w". Not saying he is going to take it easily but i see him winning convincingly. But at the same time you never could count out the old veteran. I know if ward moved up to 175 that b-hop would try to be the oldest man to defend his title. And him motivating himself is always going to be a tough night for the opposite corner.

hopkins vs ward would be a good ppv fight with a good co ppv on it too. Maybe something like lopez vs garcia or gamboa vs broner. Or something like that. But them just alone being the only fight that is worth watching wouldn't be a great ppv

That is such a ****** thing to say at this point... Ward may indeed beat Bernard, now, but it would be because of age, in large part. I'm still guessing Bernard would give Ward lots of trouble. Too bad Bernard isn't around 40 anymore...

I'd like to see him fight Froch. The pre-fight talk could be something, too...

My thoughts exactly. In order to really succeed at PPV level you either need to have a very very crowd pleasing style or an interesting personality, or two guys with such hatred for each other that it's simply a must see. Neither of these criteria fits this match-up and it would likely be a boring UD for Ward anyway. Ward will not be a massive attraction anytime soon. He beat everyone too early.
