Groves isn't on Froch's level, btw. pretender who'd get scalped quickly by the Cobra anywhere near his prime. Groves needs to wait 'til Froch is a shell.

I disagree - Groves has the tools to beat Froch what he doe'snt have at the moment is the top class experience if Hearn could get him Top 20 opponents in his next 2 fights I see an upset coming early next year - provided Froch does not get destroyed by Kessler in May then maybe he will be shell you are referring to.Comment

groves needs more experiance. Rematches with Kenny Anderson & James DeGale + a fight with Thomas Oosthuizen would be good.Comment

Hi Mick - I agree with the experience why would he fight Andersen again he has already KO'D him already he will learn absoultly nothing from that fight Andersen is not world class and not against Oosthuizen we don't want him to lose.Comment

Until he KO'ed Anderson, it was touch & go for Groves. I'd also like to see the Lonsdale belt returned to England. ;-)Comment

Yeah absolutely agree that an Anderson rematch would make sense, Anderson gave Groves fits for a while and his performance deserves a rematch. To be honest though the division is stacked, there is worthy opponents all over the place for Groves, if I was Hearn I'd keep him away from Ward, Dirrell, Froch and Kessler for the time being, but other than that let him loose. The DeGale rematch should happen too, but it's still too soon in my opinion for that fight.
Some opponents I'd like to see.... Magee, Anderson, Oosthuzien, Rodriguez, Stevenson, Bika, Steiglitz, Abraham, or whoever he has to beat to take the European title also makes sense as it usually makes you mandatory for a world title shot.Comment
