I don't think it's that good of a comparison. He's got more of a technical repertoire than Kirkland.

I think Thurman looks quicker and more skilled. Kirkland looks more comparable to a Jeff Lacy without the chin.

HORRIBLE COMPARISON!

Thurman can actually BOX...Kirkland is a flat out Brawler who needs to knock you out in order to beat you

Thurman bait you with his Defensive Flaws, he give you openings you think you have and yeah he even eat some punches so you can open up and catch you with his Power because he knows that his Power will do a lot more damage then yours

Thurman has made it CLEAR "I AM NOT AFRAID TO LET MY 0 GO" meaning that he is not afraid to lose so yeah he is willing to take those Risk

But fans are full of it because when a guy is Defensive you say that is boring, when a guy is Offensive and leaves himself open a little bit then fans complain about that as well...So Which One Is It?

Thurman is develop at the right pace for a fighter, the Defense is their when he needs it and he can be pretty slick defensively as well

He does need to tighten up his defense against right hands.

But they are bringing him along at the right pace. Zaveck was a great learning experience for him at this point in his career.
