But, I don't think Pac will take Morales out with head shots....he needs to go downstairs.
i agree pac did hurt morales with some bodyshots...but many also needs to bring more than the straight left .....pac's style is becoming predictable which will cause him problems against a expirienced fighter like morales ...if he can put combinations together and let the left come naturaly he will fair better than in the first fight ...also he needs to show erik some angles instead of backing straight up ....but like someone else mentioned manny needs a k.o to win.. i can't see him outboxing morales..if it goes to the scorecards he looses a close decision..

Pac's greatest advantage and also his best chance to beat Morales, will be his head-hunter offense. It's got him where he is.

Despite Morales' granite skull/chin, Pac can't afford to go anywhere but upstairs. If he trys to focus on going "low", Morales will simply take advantage of it by landing high and clean in combos. Sure Pac had some success to the body in Round #1, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's gonna' suddenly overwhelm Erik with bodywork.

There's good reason why Erik's never been knocked out (unlike Pac) and never been down due to bodyshots. He takes shots and then dishes out effectively on the counter.

did it occur to you guys that Pac's just after the $$$? read what his team has been saying between the lines, they all agree that Pac's best fighting weight IS at 126, he's only @130 cuz of Morales. if he gets beat, i'm already hearing Roach saying - "i told ya"

i see Pac getting outboxed again by the much bigger and more skilled El Terrible. he simply doesn't have enough tools to beat this guy.

i just watched the video of the sparring session between Morales and Valero again, Morales tags Valero repeatedly with his uppercuts when the latter throws a right jab-left straight combo...if Pac gets caught with one of these, hmmm

I agree with most that body punches would be key to a Pacquiao win but I also think he should take some of the pop out his punches. Pacquiao throws full force everytime which is good when he lands but bad when he misses because he is knocked off balance and easily countered. Marquez showed it and Morales confirmed it. Also when they get in exchanges Pacquiao needs to stand his ground more instead getting hit with a good punch and backing straight up and throwing his hands in the air. That isn't going to get it done. When he gets hit he needs to return fire immediately.

With that said I say Morales will decision Pacquiao again.

People say that PAC has no chance of beating a bigger Morales, I'd have to disagree with that. The first fight was not a blowout for Morales. If anything, PAC was ahead on points before the headbutt scene which shows you things changed after the headbutt.

Lateral movements, darting in and out, will give Morales a hell of a time to get to PAC. Morales will definitely use the jab, the most effective way PAC can counter this is by PAC lunging in and throwing the bombs if Morales releases those jabs. PAC will most likely get tagged but he will also give some. A good trade off in my opinion.

PAC has to use the right hook-flush uppercut. Under a southpaw stance, it is extremely difficult to guard against that. Morales will be hit from angles he does not expect.

Also instead of PAC backing up, he should just use side-to-side movement for defense, this will set Morales up for traps if he chooses to come in after PAC and will open Morales up for flushes and uppercuts.

It will be a close fight, I'm rooting for PAC but Morales aint over also.
