140 tourney is designed to remove threats for The Problem

Ain't it so? This upcoming 140lb tourney is just designed for Broner's benefit.

The move up to 147, probably his best weight right now, is the most blatant duck I've seen. It's sad to see talent go untested. Broner will never fight Rios since Rios is TR.

The whole 140 division is now bundled into this tourney that removes threats and by the time they move up to 147 it's gonna be more of the "Who that? I ain't ever heard of him." BS. The JWWs are probably going to be moving up to WW in two-three years while Broner will already have a belt which will allow him to call the shots.

As much as I like Broner, in the ring, I hate the route he's taking.

Incredible. An amazing tournament with amazing matchups to determine basically the undisputed world champion in the hottest division in boxing and mother****ers are thinking about Broner.

If Broner fights the best, no one can say a word. Considering the track record so far, I'm doubtful he'll do that.

Tournaments at 140.... he's going up to 147.
Why would they need to design a tournament if he's going up 2 weight classes?

This is the main thing, you can assume Broner will fight a top guy after but if history repeats itself, he wont.

The winner will have built cred, bigger fan base, and make a showdown withBroner that much bigger. If Broner keeps winning. Plus they are great fights that I wanna see!

By the time this tourney is over, it's over, then what for those fighters? I don't see most of them staying at 140 considering how much most of them weigh in on fight night anyways.

Just frustrated half of those fighters at 140 will probably never get a chance with Broner if they lose their fights in this tourney.

Well Broner is friends with Garcia and Peterson so those fights wouldn't have happened anyway. Judah would be a good step up fight but not anything worth worrying about. So the only logical choice is Matthysse.

And if Matthysse wins the tournament, he will be a household name, like Sergio and would make a Broner fight that much bigger when he steps up to 47. That is if Broner plans on staying at WW.

He already said he would fight Garcia, granted he has the green belt.

To the TS, there is no tourney, these fights were gonna happen regardless so Broner isn't ducking anyone, we all knew Peterson-Matthysse and Garcia-Judah was gonna happen.

I don't even know if Garcia and Broner are really friends, and is Haymon really going to match them? Especially after Garcia disposes of Judah (Two money makers for Haymon). Unless Garcia lets go of the green belt, I don't see how Broner will get the WBC strap.
