The funniest part about what you said is that Floyd has made a career of fighting guys that have 0, 1 or 2 fights in the 147 division.

        Hatton - 1 fight
        Marquez - 0 fights
        Guerrero - 2 fights
        Ortiz - 1 fight
        Sharmba - 1 fight

After saying all that, Canelo needs to continue gaining experience and competition and think about taking on Floyd next year because like you said, Trout is his first true test at 154.
Man you are a real ******.You forget that Mayweather had never fought at 147lbs before when he fought Sharmba Mitchell.Sharmba was already a 147lbs fighter by then and as for Hatton don't forget Floyd started even smaller than Hatton.Floyd moved to 135 then 140 when Hatton was 140 already. It's just like now where Broner's is a 135lbs fighter. If he went up to 147lbs while Khan is 140,should Khan move up to 147lbs and fight Broner would you claim than Broner beat a small fighter?

I have no problem with Canelo wanting to fight Mayweather. Like he said, he wants to fight the best. And Floydie is considered the best, even if he isn't... and has made a recent career of picking easy targets. IOW NOT fighting the best. Let these 2 get past the serious challenges they have in front of them now. Then let the 2 fight each other, assuming both win the current fights. THEN, we will see what happens. I think Canelo would give Floydie all he can handle.

I'll bet you Floyd never Fights Canelo
He doesn't have to.Canelo hasn't really fought anyone and doesn't deserve this payday.Trout is the first fight Canelo is fighting,he's been protected and the WBC belt he got was basically handed over to him.
Floyd doesn't mind also going up to 154lbs for the right fight, like when he went up for the Oscar DelaHoya fight,he didn't mind fighting the big guy.At 154lbs against Cotto, these where accomplished fighters.Honestly why on earth would Floyd move up to 154lbs to fight canelo?Who is Canelo?Who has Canelo fought? There are more accomplished fighters at 147lbs ,fighters who have actually beaten champions.Truth be told Bradley deserves a shot at Floyd than canelo,so does Alexander and there are 140lbs fighters who if they moved up are more deserving of fights than Canelo.Look at Amir Khan,Danny Garcia,Peterson if those guys move up they deserve a shot, they have fought Champions and they are deserving of these fights. As for Canelo if he beats Trout and some other champions and also move up to fight Martinez at 160lbs then yes he will deserve a shot at Floyd.Floyd won't refuse such a fight because it will be a legitimate fight.

If Canelo wants to fight the best why did he not fight the likes of Lara,Chavez and Bundrage when they wanted to fight him? Those were fights that could have been made but he chose Lopez? Is Lopez the best fighter?

what you on about, marquez wants no part of floyd he said it himself, not like the result would be any different
