Let's be serious..even at this stage Cotto puts this kid to sleep..he hasn't been tested at all..he's been thrown in with bums who go in for a check..and Zaveck who probably got a bonus for taking this dude 12rds but at no point was Zaveck aiming to win that fight..

Cotto destroys and obliterates this kid even at this point, let alone at the point where Paulie fought Cotto..

I did not see anything from Thurman to make me believe this at all..He showed himself to be a lil better fundamentally..But Cotto is another 3 or 4 levels above that...Nah I would have pick Cotto,and most likely by stoppage..Thurman's chin is still an unknown right as well..

Imo Thurman should slow down,show some respect to the fighters before him..His time will come,no need to step on toes to get there imo..

I am the only guy so far that thinks Thurman would win by KO. I was impressed with his win last night and Cotto does not hold up well to a mixture of pressure and real power. Maybe that undefeated Cotto would beat Thurman but we will never know.

Thurman is high off of all the bums he's fought thus far. Cotto would put Thurman to sleep with a left hook. Kid has no defense. Keep thinking Cotto's done. I really hope Cotto schools this freshman.

Thurman would do better than Trout. KT has confidence in his abilities and has the killer instinct. Trout was fighting to survive.
