thats my point. it is NOT freakish to see a kid his age hit the mitts like that. man, go to the national junior olympic tournament and watch those kids. there are ones that woul dput that kid to shame

I have to agree with Iceman only because he has experience and been around boxing for a long long long time and has actually seen lil kids and trained them boxing.

Other people are just talking because they havent seen other little kids train, I for one have never seen any 11 year old hit the pads that fast! and I have been to boxing gyms in LA and seen the young kids preparing for their amatuer bouts.

Hitting those pads take alot of focus thats why they call them focus mitts guys so yes the young chap is impressive!

but iceman wasnt hating on this young boy! but he is open to elaborate on boxing this is an open discussion forum.

I have seen some young kids who dont even know how to do the focus mitts that fast and still whoop ass in their fights here at the La boxing club.

Also Iceman is a freaking traineer! I been to tons of boxing gyms and you can be as fast as that boy and the trainer still wont train you! Trainers been around the game for so long they can just tell if you have it...They care more about hardwork and to see if you want it more,cause the saying is "All the talent in the world and gonna do you a bit of good unless you got the hunger"

You guys make me laugh go to any gym boxing coachs are skeptical as hell! go tell them to their faces that they are hating, boxing is a rough sport, just cause a kid can tear up the focus mitts doesnt really impress these guys.

He's showing very good hand eye cordination, good reflexes, power and yes he's showing SKILL on da Mitts, and the ability to throw a proper punch. Oh and pretty good balance. I think I even saw some handy foot work too. So yea I guess ur right he has no skill....In Boxing.....LOL

PHXBOX, u THINK u are seeing skill. What you are seeing are things a thousand kids can do on the mitts. When Ricardo Williams, Zab Judah, and ESPECIALLY Floyd Mayweather were kids like that they had mitt routines that would make your eyes bug out. I know local kids here in Connecticut that can do the things you are watching here. The kid in the video looks good, sure. but showing skills? I GUARANTEE you that he doesnt fight like that in fights.
